CEM inaugurates district office building of Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha

DIPHU, Oct 13: The chief executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang on Thursday inaugurated the building of Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha, West Karbi Anglong Committee office at Hawaipur. The building was constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 39 lakh by the KAAC.

The CEM said all communities will be provided assistance for the development of their culture and sahitya by the KAAC authorities.

He also said the road from Hawaipur to Lanka will be constructed soon.

MLA Rupsing Teron, executive members of KAAC, D Uphing Masalai, Mongal Sing Timung and Rina Terangpi; Members of Autonomous Council, Pawan Kumer Rai, Avijit Kro, Head Sing Rongpher and others were also present on the occasion.
