Chah Janagusti Mahasabha forms Demow committee

DEMOW, June 30: A public meeting was held on Sunday at the auditorium of Athabari Tea Estate to constitute the Assam Chah Janagusti Jatiya Mahasabha Demow Regional Committee.

The meeting was presided over by Horesh Bagti, Founder Secretary of ATTSA, Demow Branch.

Bijoy Bhumij of the Chah Janagusti Jatiya Mahasabha Sivasagar District Committee attended the event as an observer.

Among the prominent guests were Siba Prasad Bodra, Founder Secretary of the Chah Janagusti Jatiya Mahasabha; Biswanath Nag, Secretary of ATTSA, Demow Branch; Anupam Telenga, former Zilla Parishad member; and leaders from the 40 Samaj Kendriya, District, and Regional Committees.

Sabiram Bauri was elected President and Deepjyoti Gowala was elected Secretary of the newly formed 45-member Demow Regional Committee.
