Congress, ASDC To Jointly Contest KAAC Polls

KHERONI, April 29: The Congress and Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC) announced that they will jointly contest the coming Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) election.

In a joint press conference at the Mandal Committee office of the Congress in Kheroni in West Karbi Anglong, Congress spokesperson Rensing Bey and ASDC, Central Committee’s assistant secretary, Sarsing Engleng said that they will fight the BJP together. However, APCC’s source said that there is nothing official about it.
