Cooking Competition Lauded

SIVASAGAR, April 12: Sivasagar Barowari Mohila Mancha organised a cooking competition on April 9 which was organised by noted social worker Sushila Goswami.

Utpala Shrutikar Baruah, secretary, welcomed the judges, participants and spoke on Barowari Mohila Mancha’s social awareness programmes every year. Dr Nishat Firdouchi of Sivasagar Girls College and hotel owner Loya Barua were the judges of the competition participated by a large numbers of people.

In the sweet dish section Aparajita Kakoty, Jagrity Barua and Jinu Barua won the first, second and third prizes. In the salted section Jagrity Barua, Anu Shahu and Indrakshi  Phukan were adjudged first ,second and third in the section.
