CPI(ML) May Day

DIPHU: The CPI(ML) Liberation, Hills Party Committee (HPC) in a press release said that International Labour Day, i.e., May Day was observed in Diphu by more than a 1000 workers. Secretary, CPI(ML) Liberation, HPC, Rabi Kumar Phangcho hoisted the party flag. Nirman Shramic, All India Central Council of Trade Union (AICCTU), Karbi Anglong Kisan Shramic Sabha, Karbi So-arlo Kirsan Asong, and others participated in the event. General secretary of Nirman Shramik, Amlong Engti gave the welcome address. “The release said that Job Card, BPL Card, PMAY and other welfare schemes for the poor and needy are yet to be given. In the coming parliamentary election in 2024 the ‘fascist’ BJP must be defeated by the workers. Workers should unite for an Autonomous State”, they claimed.
