Dead body of Manglu Kurmi recovered from pond in Kachumari

DEMOW, Aug 31: The body of Manglu Kurmi (45), a resident of Kachumari, was recovered from a pond near Demow on Thursday morning.

Kurmi was reported missing on Wednesday evening. On Thursday morning, locals saw his body floating in the pond and informed the police. The police reached the scene and recovered the body. The body has been sent for post-mortem.

The cause of death is not yet known. The police are investigating the matter.

Kurmi’s family members have been informed of his death.
