Diphu FOB, I&B Ministry Organises Day Long Awareness Program On Yoga

DIPHU, May 14: Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Diphu organised a daylong awareness program on Yoga as a countdown to International Yoga Day, 2022 at Diphu Girls College on May 13.

During the occasional, an art competition was organsied for the students followed by a meeting held in the college premises. Assistant professor of the college Bishaya Rabha presided over the meeting, while assistant professor, Devendra Chakma elaborated on the importance of practicing Yoga in daily life. Field publicity officer in charge of Field Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Diphu explained the theme in the meeting. While, Yoga teacher from Guwahati Bhargav Kalita attended as a Resource Person for the event.

Later, a quiz competition was also held followed by the felicitation of the winners of the respective competitions. The day concluded with a cultural programme held by the artists of registered troupes under the Field Outreach Bureau, Diphu.
