District-level workshop on Good Governance held in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, Dec 23: As part of Good Governance Week 2025 under the “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign, a District-level workshop on Good Governance Initiatives and Best Practices was organised in Kokrajhar on Tuesday.

The workshop was attended by District Commissioner, Kokrajhar, Masanda Magdalin Pertin and Additional Principal Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Pranjit Kumar Wary, along with senior district officials, heads of departments and representatives from various line departments.

The programme aimed to highlight key government initiatives, promote transparency and accountability in administration and share best practices for effective service delivery at the grassroots level. 

Discussions focused on citizen-centric governance, efficient implementation of welfare schemes, use of technology in public service delivery and strengthening coordination among departments.
