Doll making workshop held at Assam Adarsha Vidyalaya

BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 1: A-day-long workshop on making dolls from waste materials and painting was held at Assam Adarsha Vidyalaya located at Borpam, near here on Friday. The workshop was formally inaugurated by Nripen Bordoloi; director of the educational institution. A total of 150 budding children from various educational institutions took part in the workshop. Dipen Das; director of School of Creative Art, Biswanath graced the workshop as a resource person. He imparted the basic training on doll making from waste materials. The workshop on drawing began in the next session. Purnima Basumatary, Bornali Kurmi, Aimoni Bora, Manidipa Das, Lipika Saikia also attended the workshop as experts. All the proceedings of the workshops were carried out by Sanjay Kalita.
