GUWAHATI, Nov 16: SSB 27 battalion started an excursion tour for Guwahati and Shillong with a view to promote the talent of border youths and exposure.

The 20 selected students from the bordering district of Baksa, comprising 10 girls and 10 boys got an opportunity to meet Nomal Momin, deputy speaker of Assam Assembly. The students were mesmerised to see the grandeur of the central hall and Assembly House.

The deputy speaker interacted with the students and shared refreshments. Thereafter, an interaction session with inspector general SSB Frontier Guwahati was also held.
Regional director, RBI Guwahati also shared tips with them regarding fiscal value. The students also met the DGP of Assam.
