The event is jointly organised by the West Karbi Anglong District Agriculture Department and the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).

The fair was officially inaugurated by Additional District Commissioner of West Karbi Anglong, Bedanga Kashyap Das. Following the inauguration, the ceremonial lamp was lit by Ramson Rongpi, Chairman of the Village Development Committee under the Bithung-Rengthema Council Constituency.

Organised under the supervision of District Agriculture Officer Tapan Dutta and Senior Agriculture Development Officer Debajit Saikia, the event showcased a wide range of resources and opportunities for the farming community.

A variety of locally grown crops and agricultural products were put on display. The Agriculture Department exhibited essential farming tools, including traditional implements such as daos and hoes, along with modern agricultural machinery.

Several Self-Help Groups set up stalls to display and sell indigenous products directly to consumers at affordable prices. Farmers were also able to procure quality seeds, pesticides and fertilisers at discounted rates from departmental stalls.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between departmental resources and grassroots farmers, encouraging entrepreneurship and economic independence among the farming community of West Karbi Anglong.
