Final Photo Electoral Roll of the Special Summary Revision 2025 in Sonitpur

TEZPUR, January 7: District Commissioner cum District Election Officer of Sonitpur Ankur Bharali published the Final Photo Electoral Roll of the Special Summary Revision 2025 of the district on Tuesday in the presence of DDC Lakhinandan Saharia, Election Officer, EROs and representatives of recognised political parties.

It is to be noted that the qualifying deadline for the Special Summary Revision of the Photo Electoral Roll for 2025 was established as January 1, 2025.

Accordingly, as of 6th January 2025 Sonitpur district have effectively registered 13,303 new voters and deleted 4,113 records of shifted/dead voters for a net gain in voter count of 9,190 throughout all five Legislative Assembly constituencies.

In the context of 65-Dhekiajuli LAC: Total polling stations is 268, enrolled voters: 2,883, deleted voters: 877, net increased voters: 2,006, total voters: 2,25,658, for 66-Barchalla LAC: Total polling stations is 230, enrolled voters: 2,710, deleted voters: 564, net increased voters: 2,146, total voters 1,93,152, for 67-Tezpur LAC: Total polling stations is 211, enrolled voters: 2,335, deleted voters: 824, net increased voters: 1,511, total voters 1,78,196, for 68-Rangapara LAC: Total polling stations is 203, enrolled voters: 2,822, deleted voters: 1,047, net increased voters: 1,775, total voters 1,69,728 and for 69-Naduar LAC: Total polling stations is 239, enrolled voters: 2,553, deleted voters: 801, net increased voters: 1752, total voters 2,02,645.

Accordingly in the context of Sonitpur district the total number of voters is 9,69,379, including  4,79,830 male voters, 4,89,526 female voters and 23 Third Gender voters who will be exercising their franchise in  a total of 1151 polling stations in the district.
