Former Karbi traditional king injured

DIPHU, April 18: Former Karbi traditional king Harsing Ronghang was hit by a car fracturing one of his legs at Taralangso on Friday. Ronghang was immediately taken to Diphu Medical College & Hospital. He was attending the Aron Barim Armu Chingrum Amei at Taralangso here.

In another accident on the same day, a bus bringing ferrying people from Langtukthepi, Hamren in West Karbi Anglong met with head on collision with another bus at Phongjangre in which several people sustained injuries. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
