Governor mourns death of five IAF personnel in Jorhat AN-32 crash

GUWAHATI, June 13: Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya has expressed deep grief over the death of five Indian Air Force personnel in the AN-32 aircraft crash at the Air Force Station in Jorhat on Saturday.

In a condolence message, the Governor described the loss of the five air warriors as deeply saddening and a matter of profound sorrow for the nation.

Paying tribute to the deceased personnel, Acharya said their selfless service, dedication and sacrifice in safeguarding the country would always be remembered with gratitude and pride.

The Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for strength and courage to help them endure the irreparable loss.

He also offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls and acknowledged the invaluable contribution of the air force personnel in serving the nation.
