GUWAHATI, Oct 21: Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya o Tuesday paid rich tributes to the brave police personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, marking the observance of Police Commemoration Day.
The solemn ceremony was held at the 10th Assam Police Battalion Headquarters in Kahilipara, Guwahati.

The Governor remembered the fallen heroes with deep reverence and extended his heartfelt gratitude to their families for their sacrifices.

The ceremony was attended by Director General of Police, Assam, Harmeet Singh, along with senior police officers and personnel from various units.
The attendees paid homage to the martyrs and reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the ideals of service, courage, and sacrifice that define the police force.
