GUWAHATI, Feb 6: NF Railway has recently introduced a unique dining experience for passengers and visitors at the Guwahati Railway Station with the launch of the Rail Coach Restaurant. This initiative aims to provide a distinctive culinary journey for travellers seeking an extraordinary dining experience.
The Rail Coach Restaurant, adorned with vibrant paintings, warm lighting, and comfortable seating arrangements, offers a delightful ambiance for relishing regional flavours and other Indian delicacies. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, the restaurant promises a unique dining experience reminiscent of dining in a train coach, allowing patrons to enjoy quality time with family and friends.

In addition to offering a diverse menu of foods, snacks, and beverages, the coach restaurant also provides facilities for purchasing culinary delights on the go. Currently, there are 14 operational coach restaurants across the NF Railway network, with plans to introduce more at 62 selected locations.
The introduction of the Rail Coach Restaurant at Guwahati Railway Station not only aims to cater to the culinary needs of passengers and the public but also seeks to generate non-fare revenue for the railways.
