DEMOW, April 6: Sri Sri Hanuman Jayanti Mahotsav started in Demow Bibah Bhawan premises from Tuesday for a three-day long programme.

As per the schedule, on Tuesday morning the programme started with Mangal Kalash Yatra. On Wednesday morning the Puja started followed by Akhand Astrayam Prarambh.

The Shihasan decoration competition was organised followed by Kite decoration competition and then the Aarti was held. On Thursday morning the Puja was done followed by conclusion of Hawaan and Kirtan.

The colourful procession was taken out in Demow area on Thursday evening where the children and women clad in colourful dress. The programme also featured performance of invited artistes.
