NAGAON, Aug 13: Delhi Public School (DPS) Nagaon, in collaboration with the District Health Society, Nagaon, organised its first-ever health check-up camp under the banner “We Care – 2025 (Your Health Matters)” on Tuesday.
According to an official statement, the initiative aimed to ensure the well-being of students from Nursery to Class VIII, as well as teachers, through comprehensive medical screening and guidance.
A total of 17 medical professionals from RBSK/RKSK and allied departments took part in the camp, including medical officers, dental surgeons, pharmacists, auxiliary nurse midwives (ANMs), community health officers (CHOs) and counsellors.
The team was led by District Coordinator Devid Borah and included specialists such as Dr Kumud Borah, Dr Pankaj Jyoti Baruah, Dr Abdur Rajek Ahmed, Dr Mitali Goswami, along with Ms Sabita Sarkar, Sadikur Rahman, Azizul Hussain, Ananya Tamuly, Krishnamoni Saikia, Dimbeswar Konwar, Jenifa Islam, Parinita Devi, Mukibur Rahman, Heli Borah, Moni Borah and Ciju Moni Saikia.
The event, which commenced at 9 am, facilitated health check-ups for a large number of students and teachers.
The organisers stated that the camp not only helped in early detection of health concerns but also promoted awareness on the importance of regular medical examinations.
DPS Nagaon expressed gratitude to the District Health Society and the participating medical team for their support and dedicated service.
