New Delhi, Jan 9: The Central Government has announced the appointment of senior IAS officer Samir Kumar Sinha as the Additional Secretary and Director General (Acquisition) in the Defence Ministry.
This appointment is part of a major bureaucratic reshuffle. Sinha, a 1994-batch IAS officer, was previously serving as the Principal Secretary to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
