Indian Army concludes seminar on China to strengthen border security awareness

DIBRUGARH, Oct 7: The Indian Army on Tuesday concluded a two-day seminar on China’s evolving strategic role at the Dinjan Military Station.

Organised by the Dao Division under the aegis of Spear Corps, the event brought together military leaders, security experts, and academicians to assess the complex dynamics along India’s northern borders.

The seminar featured four sessions covering China’s defence capabilities, lessons from past interactions, trans-boundary dynamics, and geopolitical asymmetry between India and China.

Eminent speakers provided in-depth insights into China’s military posture and its implications for India’s security planning.

The event saw participation from senior military officers, ITBP officials, policymakers, bureaucrats, academicians, and students from across the northeastern region. It generated actionable recommendations aimed at refining strategies, enhancing operational preparedness, and strengthening India’s strategic approach to border security.
