JCI national president inaugurates several projects

GUWAHATI, June 7: 
National president of Junior Chamber International (JCI), MK Karthikeyan is on his official visit to Guwahati. To showcase the JCI movement through its slogan – ‘Guided by Purpose’ and to establish public relations with the help of the esteemed media houses of the region, he inaugurated a number of community development projects. He also held a meeting with the JCI members on Saturday in the Multi LO Meet at Hotel Rajmahal.

On Saturday, Karthikeyan visited a project to inaugurate a children’s park and a basketball court at Changsari with deputy commissioner, Amingaon. And after lunch, he visited Uzanbazar for adoption of Harijan colony, installation of water boring, solar lights and learning center, and at 5:00 pm, he visited Shantipur, a remote area to install solar lights.

On Sunday, Karthikeyan visited a project of JCI Guwahati Hunar at Sonapur for the installation of a water boring system, water tank, children’s park and a tea stall. After that, he visited Noonmati for the adoption of a school, inauguration of skill development center, installation of water filter, water tank and water pump by JCI Guwahati Pathfinders. He visited Sanganeria Dharamsala for ‘Kanyadaan Mahadaan’

On Monday, a grand PR program ‘Walky Talky, Walk with NP Sir’ was conducted. Several projects were inaugurated by JCI Dispur Capitals.
Karthikeyan, on the last day visited JCI Barpeta for the inauguration of 2 classrooms at the adopted school at Madulijhar and 2 toilet blocks in a park.
