JORHAT, April 30: Dhrubangee Keot, a Class 8 student of Jorhat Shemford School, has earned the CCRT-CTSSS Scholarship (Centre for Cultural Resources and Training – Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme) for the academic year 2025–26. This scholarship is awarded in Bihu dance under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, under the guidance of Guru Madhurima Barua.
Dhrubangee resides with her parents, Pranjal Keot and Rumi Borah, at the North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST) residential colony in Jorhat.
The Government of India grants this scholarship to talented students aged 10–14 in recognition of their exceptional abilities at the national level and to further encourage them.
Her achievement has brought pride not only to the school but also to the entire Jorhat region.
