KAAC passes supplementary budget of ₹100 crore

DIPHU, Dec 15: A special session of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council was held on Monday at the Council Session Hall under the chairmanship of Speaker Raju Tisso.

During the session, chief executive member Tuliram Ronghang, who also holds the finance portfolio, presented a supplementary budget proposal to incorporate ₹100 crore received from the Central Government into the supplementary budget for the current financial year.

The proposal was unanimously approved by members of the House. Informing the council, Ronghang said the ₹100 crore allocation would be utilised to address the needs and grievances of people across all 26 constituencies of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.
