Karbi Anglong prepares for entrepreneurship fund cheque distribution

DIPHU, Jan 30: A review meeting chaired by District Commissioner Aranyak Saikia, IAS, assessed preparations for the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA) cheque distribution in Bokajan LAC, scheduled for February 6 at Hanjanglangso Ground. The event will benefit 16,395 participants.

Officials, including Additional District Commissioners, Superintendent of Police, DRDA Project Director and ASRLM representatives, discussed logistics, transportation, security, infrastructure, sanitation and technical coordination. The DC stressed efficient transport for beneficiaries from remote areas and directed DIPRO to ensure sound system, LED display, digital streaming and media management.

Drinking water, bio-toilets with women-friendly facilities, VIP toilets and green rooms were also reviewed. Police and Transport authorities were instructed to manage traffic and safety. Departments were urged to complete all arrangements within the timeframe to ensure smooth execution of the MMUA programme.
