DIPHU, Jan 16: Kedalo Jishing Rengma from Diphu won the title of Mr KYF 2024, presented by the Karbi Cultural Society (KCS) and organised by the United Karbi Youth Association (UKYA) & Mr KYF Committee.
The prestigious event took place on Sunday and Monday at Ru Semsonsing Ingti Achatai at Karbi People’s Hall, Taralangso, marking the glorious 50th Karbi Youth Festival 2024: Golden Jubilee Celebration.

The chief guest for the event was senior advocate Tripura and social activist Anthony Debbarma. Renowned model and Mr India 2021 sensation Songashim Rungsung served as the star judge of Mr KYF 2024. The panel of judges also included Mirjeng Kro, president KSA; Maggie Katharpi, assistant professor, DGC; Gautam Terang, actor; and Longbir Terang, poet & lyricist.
Sanjib Timung secured the 1st runners-up position, and Vishal Rongpi was awarded 2nd runners-up. Kongkong Timung received the best costume accolade.
The program was graced by the presence of Madhuram Lekthe, executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, and Longsing Teron, editor of Thekar.
