DIPHU, Dec 15: The PM Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) Kendriya Vidyalaya, Diphu, celebrated the 62nd Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and a series of vibrant cultural programs. The event was graced by Ankita Borah, the ADC of Karbi Anglong, as the chief guest.
The celebrations commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the KVS prayer and a warm welcome address by the principal. In her speech, Borah lauded the pivotal role played by Kendriya Vidyalayas in promoting education and fostering holistic development among students.
The highlight of the event was the students’ mesmerising cultural performances, which included traditional dances, soulful musical renditions, and a skit celebrating six decades of KVS achievements. Adding to the excitement, Borah invited all students for a collective dance, fostering a sense of inclusivity and joy.
The chief guest commended the efforts of both students and staff, urging them to continue upholding the values that Kendriya Vidyalayas represent. The program concluded on a patriotic note with a vote of thanks and the national anthem, reflecting the unity and dedication that define the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
