JAGIROAD, Nov 15: The Jagiroad College (Autonomous) study centre organised an induction programme on Saturday for newly enrolled learners of the MA and BA programmes of Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University (KKHSOU).
Dr C R Sarkar, Coordinator of the Jagiroad College study centre, presided over the event and encouraged the learners to pursue their studies with dedication. Ratumoni Das, Head of the Department of Geography and former Coordinator of the study centre, also attended and motivated the participants.
Dr Sangeeta Kakoti, Deputy Director of EMPC, KKHSOU, delivered an insightful lecture aimed at enriching the academic and personal development of the learners. Himangshu Haloi, Coordinator of the study centre, welcomed all dignitaries and participants. Earlier, Dr Bhaben Chandra Neog, Principal of Jagiroad College, extended his best wishes to the newly admitted students.
The programme provided an orientation to the learners about academic expectations, university resources and opportunities for growth, setting a strong foundation for their journey at KKHSOU.
