Kokrajhar CIT Marks Milestone With Second Convocation Ceremony

KOKRAJHAR, Jan 10: The Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar (CITK), celebrated a momentous occasion with its second convocation held at the Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari in Kokrajhar district on Wednesday. The event witnessed the conferment of degrees and diplomas upon 531 students, including 11 PhD students, 94 postgraduate students, 261 undergraduates, and 165 diploma students, covering the academic years of 2022 and 2023.

CIT Kokrajhar stands as a beacon of technological excellence in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) districts, serving as an incubator for academic achievements and development. The institution plays a crucial role in imparting technical and vocational education to the diligent youth of the Bodoland region.

The convocation ceremony highlighted the institution’s robust alumni record, with a total of 1345 diplomas, 2165 BTech degrees, 84 BDes degrees, 101 MTech degrees, 19 MDes degrees, and 11 PhD degrees conferred over the years.

Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, graced the event as the chief guest, extending warm congratulations and greetings to all the accomplished students.
