Leopard carcass found at Nameri

BISWANATH CHARIALI, March 29: A worn out carcass of a leopard was found at Nameri national park on Tuesday. The carcass was recovered by a team of forest department, Nameri national park and Crime Control Bureau (Forest). The patrolling team apprehended one Babul Payeng; a resident of Dharikati area. Claws, skull, teeth, leg bones were recovered by the patrolling team. The operation was conducted under the lead of Debasish Budagohain; ranger Nameri.
