GUWAHATI, July 11: The number of passengers and air traffic movements at Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport is experiencing a significant rise. Adding to the growing connectivity, Akasa Air has introduced a new flight route from Guwahati to Bagdogra (IXB) starting from Tuesday, with flights scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday.
This recent addition of connectivity during the summer schedule has been well received by passengers traveling between Guwahati and Bagdogra. Akasa Air will operate a narrow-body Boeing aircraft with a single-class configuration, offering 189 seats in Economy Class.
The inbound flight, QP 1372, departs Guwahati at 09:15 hours and arrives in Bagdogra at 10:15 hours. The return flight, QP 1372, departs Bagdogra at 05:40 hours and arrives in Guwahati at 08:40 hours in the morning.
Akasa Air has made the decision to commence operations on this route starting from July 11, and the service will continue until October 28, 2023.
This new flight connectivity between Guwahati and Bagdogra provides more travel options for passengers and enhances connectivity between the two cities. The addition of Akasa Air’s service further strengthens Guwahati’s position as a growing aviation hub in the region. Travelers can now enjoy convenient and comfortable air travel between these two destinations.
