DIPHU, Sept 7: Madhumita Bhagawati, the district commissioner of Karbi Anglong, has announced the commencement of the First Level Check (FLC) of Electoral Voting Machines (EVMs) for the upcoming Parliamentary election under three Legislative Assembly Constituencies of Diphu, Howraghat, and Bokajan.

This checking process will begin on September 10 at the warehouse in Diphu.

In a press conference held at her official chamber, the DC explained that this process is in accordance with the instructions of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

To ensure a smooth FLC, preparations such as installation of CCTV cameras and video recording facilities have been completed. Engineers and officials from the ECI will arrive on September 9 to oversee the checking of EVMs, she said.
