Meritorious achievers applauded

DEMOW, June 2: Under the patronage of the All Adivasi Students Association of Assam (AASAA), Demow Regional Committee, in association with the Primary Committees, felicitated meritorious students who passed with flying colors in the HSLC and HS Final Examination 2024 on Sunday. The felicitation program was held in the auditorium of N-Santiya Bhawan (Demow Alun Nagar) on Sunday. Lalit Tanti, president of AASAA, Demow Regional Committee, presided over the meeting, while Kamal Bhumij, general secretary of AASAA, Demow Regional Committee, anchored the program. A total of 50 meritorious students were felicitated with phulam gamosa and citations. Gauranga Chaura, Tarun Kurmi, secretary of Chah Janajati Jatiya Sanmillani Sivasagar District Committee, Ajay Kumar Gogoi, professor at Moran Women College, David Bonia, former president of AASAA, Demow Regional Committee, along with other dignitaries, were present as chief guests.
