MSSV students organises yoga camps

GUWAHATI, May 22: 
Department of Yogic Science and Naturopathy of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV) have organised yoga camps for 21 days in various districts of Assam from April 29 to May 20, 2023 which has benefited approximately 15,000 people.

The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr Ujjwal Arun Maske, head of the department. During this period, students conducted yoga camps at schools, colleges, hospitals, offices, defence areas, institutes, universities, radio stations, fire brigade, rahab centre, ashram, old age home, coaching institutes, bank offices, etc. The yoga camps were organised mainly in Sivasagar, Jorhat, Tezpur, Nagaon, Morigaon, Golaghat, Nalbari, Tihu, Rangia, Palashbari, Barpeta, Baksa, Mangaldoi, Diphu, Kamrup, etc. Also, to reach up to village people, a total of 12 yoga camps were organised in the villages.
