N F Railway Joins The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

GUWAHATI, Aug 13: ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign launched under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to celebrate 75th year of India’s independence by hoisting the tricolours. As part of the Prime Minister’s initiative the main objective of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is to establish a personal relationship of every Indian with our national flag, the tricolour. ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign fills the feelings of patriotism in every Indian and every Indian get a chance to hoist the national flag at their home from 13 to 15 August, 2022.

To mark this momentous occasion, N F Railway hoist the Indian national flag at all the railway installations and station buildings under its jurisdiction. A total number of 57,770 national flags were purchased by N F Railway and provided to its employees to hoist at home from 13 to 15 August, 2022 as a part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. With full enthusiasm all the railway officials hoisted the Indian national flag at their railway quarters and own residences on Saturday. As a part of the campaign, N F Railway’s Bharat Scouts and Guides organised a cycle rally at Maligaon area to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

N F Railway and its employees took active participation in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by collectively bringing the national flag to home to make this campaign immensely successful. This becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of N F Railway’s commitment to nation building.
