In Kokrajhar, a grand bike rally of the National Democratic Alliance (UPPL, BJP, AGP) in support of NDA alliance candidate Joyanta Basumatary for No 1 Kokrajhar Lok Sabha Constituency was conducted in Kokrajhar LAC on Wednesday. State cabinet minister and UPPL founder president Urkhao Gwra Brahma flagged off the rally in the presence of Kokrajhar East LAC Lawrence Islary, AGP senior leader Karna Mohan Roy, MCLA (BTR) Rajib Kumar Brahma, leaders from NDA alliance partners AGP, BJP, UPPL parties, and office bearers of Kokrajhar LAC election steering committee.

Thousands of participants from NDA alliance partners holding banners participated in the event, which started from Adabari playground in Kokrajhar and traversed through New Flyover, Khargaon, Titaguri, JD Road, Karigaon, Bishmuri, Jharbari, Patgaon, Sijouguri, Simbargaon, and concluded at Titaguri Janagaon playground.

Notably, the NDA alliance is contesting in all 14 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of Assam, including Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, and is hopeful of winning over 12 seats in the state. Accordingly, the rally has shown the significant momentum of the NDA alliance in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency as well as across the state of Assam.

Minister Brahma expressed that the NDA alliance is fully prepared to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with necessary preparations and arrangements already in place. He mentioned that people from different communities are coming forward to extend support to the NDA alliance candidates across the region.

He expressed hope that NDA candidates, including those in the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, will win the elections with majority support. Brahma stated that the NDA alliance, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is projected to win 400 seats across the country, resulting in Modi’s consecutive third term as the Prime Minister of India.

Regarding the BPF party, Brahma remarked that it has become irrelevant among citizens across the region. He noted that people are now supporting the NDA alliance due to the failure of the BPF party to address grievances during its 17-year rule in the Bodoland Territorial Region. Brahma predicted a severe defeat for the BPF party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as the common masses are avoiding extending support to the party and its candidates.

Brahma expressed his pleasure in participating in a grand bike rally held in Kokrajhar LAC, where over a thousand enthusiastic supporters and voters organised by the NDA showed their support for Joyanta Basumatary, the candidate for the No 1 Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.

In Chirang, Rajya Sabha MP and UPPL working president Rwngwra Narzary, along with BTR executive member Ranjit Basumatary, flagged off the grand NDA bike rally held at Kajalgaon in Chirang under Sidli LAC in support of NDA alliance candidate Joyanta Basumatary. Hundreds of party workers and members of UPPL, BJP, and AGP parties, under the leadership of the NDA alliance, participated in the rally, covering nearly a hundred kilometers in the Sidli constituency.
