GUWAHATI, July 2: The Northeast Frontier Railway has announced the extension of services for a few special trains to cater to the increased number of passengers. These special trains will operate in both directions, connecting various cities in the north-east region.

Train no 07046 (Secunderabad – Dibrugarh) Special: The services of this train will be extended from July 3 to July 31, 2023. It will run every Monday for five additional trips from Secunderabad to Dibrugarh.
Train no 07047 (Dibrugarh – Secunderabad) Special: The services of this train will be extended from July 6 to August 3, 2023. It will run every Thursday for five more trips from Dibrugarh to Secunderabad. Both these trains will pass through various stations including Simaluguri, Dimapur, Lumding, Goalpara Town, Alipuduar, New Jaipaiguri, Rampurhat, Kharagpur, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, and Vijayawada.
Train no 09525 (Okha – Naharlagun) Summer Special: The services of this train will be extended from July 4 to August 29, 2023. It will depart from Okha every Tuesday for nine additional trips to Naharlagun.
Train no 07047 (Naharlagun – Okha) Summer Special: The services of this train will be extended from July 8 to September 2, 2023. It will depart from Naharlagun every Saturday for nine more trips to Okha. These trains will pass through stations such as Harmuti, Rangpara North, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Begusarai, Chhapra, Varanasi, Prayagraj Jn, Gwalior, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, and Dwarka.
Train no 08047 (Santragachi – Guwahati) Festival Weekly Special: The services of this train will be extended to operate every Friday from July 7 to July 28, 2023, for four more trips.
Train no 08048 (Guwahati – Santragachi) Festival Weekly Special: The services of this train will be extended from Guwahati to Santragachi for four additional trips, departing every Saturday from July 8 to July 29, 2023. Both these trains will pass through Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, and Barddhaman.
Passengers with waitlisted tickets on other trains along these routes can take advantage of these extended services for a more comfortable journey. The details of the train schedules and stoppages are available on the IRCTC website and have been notified through various newspapers and social media platforms of the Northeast Frontier Railway.
