Speaking on the occasion, Hagrama Mohilary said that Kokrajhar, the headquarters of BTC, had long needed a modern medical institution. He added that the hospital, established through the efforts of its owner Dr S C Rabha and his family, fulfilled a long-cherished dream. Though the hospital operates in the private sector, he expressed hope that patients would receive quality medical services.

Hagrama Mohilary also spoke about the historic Bagurumba dance performance held yesterday at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati. He said he felt proud and happy to witness the event and mentioned that the Prime Minister appreciated the performance and personally shook hands with him twice. He described the Prime Minister as an old acquaintance and friend.

Addressing the media, Hagrama Mohilary announced that the Bodo Peace Accord anniversary will be observed on January 27, 2026. He criticised Pramod Boro for not observing the BTC Accord anniversary on February 10 and highlighted BTC’s commitment to celebrating the accord signed on January 27, 2020.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by BTC Executive Member Dhaneswar Goyary, local MLA Lawrence Islary, BTC health officials, doctors and other dignitaries.
