Kailash Chandra Sharma, a social activist and popular person of Kalugaon breathed his last at his own residence at Kalugaon Lunpuria village on Thursday night.
He was 84 and was suffering from respiratory problems. He served as an office assistant at Sivasagar Bezbaruah Higher Secondary School and retired from Barpatradole High Secondary School (BHSS) as UDC. He was associated with Senior Citizens’ Forum, Mukul Sahitya Sabha and a host of other organisations of Kalugaon. He leaves behind his wife, five daughters and a son besides a host of relatives.
