TEZPUR, March 13: Various organisations in Sonitpur have vehemently condemned the alleged failure to conduct the on-going HS and HSLC final examinations in the state.

SEBA has cancelled/postponed the HSLC final examination’s General Science exam scheduled on Monday.
The exam was cancelled following the news of the model question paper being circulated in social media which is now rescheduled to be held on March 30.
In protest against the alleged failure of the SEBA and state education department as well in this regard, Sonitpur district ABSU supported by all 18 anchalick committees, staged a protest programme at Dhekiajuli ABSU office and demanded conducting an error-free HSLC Examination.
Condemning the cancellation of the Science subject’s examination the students’ body also urged the agencies concerned not to play with the lives of the students and to take stern action against the culprits involved in the question paper leakage incident.
Likewise, AASU Sonitpur district committee also staged a strong protest against it in district headquarter here and several student organisations too sharply criticised the SEBA’s failure to maintain the discipline in conducting the HSLC final examination.
The organisations also demand an impartial inquiry into the matter and urged not to play games with the future of the students.
