So far, more than 2,000 candidates from Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and nine districts of Upper Assam have participated with numbers expected to rise as aspirants from other states arrive. To prevent overcrowding, the recruitment process is organised district- and state-wise, ensuring orderly conducts throughout.

All stages—including height and physical fitness tests, running, physical measurements, documentation and medical examinations are being carried out strictly in line with merit-based evaluation and recruitment policies. Observers, civil representatives and candidates have praised the rally for its professionalism, impartiality and efficient management.

Multiple welfare measures have been provided to ensure candidate comfort, including free food and refreshments for those traveling from distant locations, rest areas, organised waiting zones and guidance teams to assist with paperwork and procedural clarity.

The rally underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to empowering youth from Northeast India and neighboring regions, offering a transparent, accessible and fair opportunity to join the armed forces. The Sonitpur District administration’s cooperation has been credited for contributing to the smooth and orderly execution of the event.
