NAGAON, Nov 28: A four-day Painter Skill Training programme organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Nagaon University in collaboration with Global Hunt Foundation, Delhi, and supported by AkzoNobel, concluded today.
Over 70 unemployed youths and painters from rural areas participated in two batches.
The training was conducted by Subrata Kumar Roy, regional technical trainer from Kolkata, who covered various aspects of quality painting.
Participants received certificates and gift kits from Global Hunt Foundation.
The programme was inaugurated on November 25 by Registrar-in-charge Dhrubajyoti Baruah in the presence of IQAC director Dr Bhuban Chandra Chutia.
Roy distributed certificates on the final day. Vice-Chancellor Dr Hitesh Deka thanked the organisers and conveyed best wishes to the trainees.
