BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 16: Lokra Battalion of Headquarter 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted screening tests for the local youth undergoing pre-recruitment training at Lokra Battalion. Screening tests to include Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) and Written Tests were conducted by Lokra Battalion for the total of 17 pre-recruit trainees on Saturday. The aim of the screening tests was to check the improvement in the performance of the candidates and give them the real exposure of recruitment rallies.
An awareness lecture was also conducted to educate the candidates on other aspects like correct documentation, medical standards and upcoming recruitment rallies was also conducted by the battalion. The overwhelming response by the youth showcased the shifting of focus towards progress and development. The positive role played by Assam Rifles for ensuring support and training of youth was widely appreciated by the locals.
