Prof Mridul Hazarika New Vice Chancellor Of MSSV

NAGAON, April 24: Former vice-chancellor of Gauhati University- Professor Mridul Hazarika assumed the charge as the new vice-chancellor of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Vishwavidyalaya (MSSV) on Sunday. In a function held at the university campus, he took the new charge ceremonially from Dr Mrinal Kumar Bora, the registrar as well as the in-charge vice chancellor of the university in presence of Babul Bora, the secretary general of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha, deputy registrar Dr Shekhar Km Sarkar, deputy academic registrar Dr Nayanmoni Saikia as well as other office bearers of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha and teaching staff of the university.

Akhil Kumar Bora and Gauri Prasad Sarma, respectively the president and secretary of Alumni Association of Mahapurush Srimanta Shankardev Vishwavidyalaya also graced the occasion and welcomed the new VC of the university, a release added.
