GUWAHATI, Aug 12: Raj Bhavan, Assam on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan to provide free coaching to UPSC aspirants from the state, in the presence of Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bhavan.
According to an official statement, the initiative aims to identify and support 10 talented UPSC aspirants and train them at reputed civil services institutes in New Delhi.
Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan, a unit of Akhil Bharatiya Dayanand Sewashram Sangh, is a civil services preparatory initiative by Arya Samaj.
The statement further informed that the Governor had launched the “Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana” on September 17, 2024, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to benefit civil services aspirants from Assam.
The MoU was signed by Joint Secretary to the Governor’s Secretariat Bidit Das and Vice-President of Akhil Bharatiya Dayanand Sewashram Sangh Vinay Arya.
It seeks to collaborate in supporting and implementing the “Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2025” for the benefit of aspirants across the state.
