Retired DPHNS Meena Nunisa passes away

DIPHU, May 10:
Meena Nunisa, retired district public health nursing supervisor (DPHNS) in O/o additional chief medical officer (FW), wife of Dr Motilal Nunisa, retired director, Health (FW), Assam died on Monday in her residence in New Delhi at about 4:50 pm. She was suffering from chronic lung ailment.

She joined as staff nurse (SN), Diphu Civil Hospital in 1983 and got married to Dr Motilal Nunisa on May 12, 1983. She was promoted to sister, I/c (Red belt) then was promoted to assistant matron, Diphu Civil Hospital and ultimately promoted to DPHNS, O/o additional chief medical officer (FW), Diphu, Karbi Anglong from which she retired on February 2, 2020.
