Rice Distribution Programme Held in West Karbi Anglong

DONGKAMUKAM, April 13: As part of BJPs two week long ‘Samajik Nyay Pakhwada’ (SNP) programme, rice was distributed to needy families here on Wednesday.

Under ‘Gareeb Kalyan Ann Yojna’ (GKAY), 5 kg rice was given to each needy family in a programme held in the premises of Menmiji Lamps, West Karbi Anglong.

The supervisor of the program who is also the chairman of Veterinary Development Board, Ditolal Hasnu while attending the programme said the scheme was formulated by the BJP government during the Covid-19 pandemic to help the poorest section of the society. GKAY is well implemented across the country. If anyone has been missed out they can intimidate the authority.

Chairman of Menmiji Lamps Ltd, Bidyasing Teron, chairman of Sericulture Development Board, Birsing Hanse, chairman of Cooperation Board, Pranob Rongphar and others were present in the programme.
