DIBRUGARH, July 5: RLDA, the Rail Land Development Authority, has announced the invitation for bids to lease out 36,458.18 square meters of railway land at Naliapool Railway Colony in Dibrugarh. The reserve price for the land is set at Rs 31 crores.
Out of the total area of 50,113.54 square meters in the colony, 36,458.18 square meters will be leased out for a residential cum commercial development for a period of 99 years. The remaining 11,944.49 square meters will be utilised for the redevelopment of the existing Railway Colony, which consists of 168 units quarters, at Naliapool Colony in Dibrugarh.
The site is centrally located within the Dibrugarh Municipal area and has good connectivity with the Assam Trunk Road through Durga Bari Road.
An online pre-bid meeting was held on June 16, 2023, in Dibrugarh, which saw the participation of several local and national level developers. The queries raised by the developers were addressed during the meeting. The deadline for the submission of e-bids is July 26, 2023, until 15:00 hrs.

With the flourishing tea industry in the region and the implementation of new logistical developments, RLDA aims to enhance the supply chain and unlock the true potential of the region. This will not only bring prosperity but also encourage the growth of new economic avenues in the area.
