Rongali Bihu Sanmillan Set To Be Organised In Demow

DEMOW, April 10: Under the patronage of Demow Regional Students Union in association with the people of the area, the 28th Demow Kendriya Rongali Bihu Sanmilan will be organised in Demow Public Playground on April 23 and April 24. The Lai Khuta of the programme was erected in Demow Public Playground recently. As per the schedule, on April 23, the programme will start with flag hoisting of the organising committee which will be followed by flag hoisting of AASU. After that flag hoisting of different organisations, establishments will also be done. The Swahid Tarpan will also be offered. Further, the Bihu dance and Bihuwati competitions will also be organised. On April 24, the programme will start with a drawing competition. An inter college quiz competition is also scheduled to be organised on April 24. The Dhol Badan and Jeng Bihu competitions are also scheduled for the day. The winning competitors of different competitions will be given prizes on the evening of April 24. Moreover, popular singer Subasana Dutta will perform in the cultural evening on April 24. Interested participants are requested to contact the organising committee for further queries.
