NAGAON, Aug 11: Rotary Club of Nagaon has entered the Assam Book of Records for organising one of the largest drawing competitions in the state — “Taare Zameen Par 3.0”.
The event, held on Sunday at Nagaon Government Boys’ HS School as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, featured the theme Independence Day.
Over 1,670 students from Classes 1 to 12 participated in three groups — A, B, and C — showcasing their talent and creativity.
The Assam Book of Records lauded the Rotary Club of Nagaon for providing a platform that encouraged young minds to express their artistic skills and patriotic spirit.
Club president Aman Dassani, secretary Mamta Agarwal, and project chair Amit More expressed pride in the achievement and extended thanks to club members, volunteers, and assistant governor Birendra Jain for their dedicated efforts in making the event a success.
The milestone, the release added, not only celebrated students’ creativity but also strengthened Rotary’s mission of empowering youth and building an engaged community.
