DIPHU: Writer Harsing Kholar received the Sahitya Akademi award in a function held at Delhi Science Bhawan on Monday.

Kholar arrived in Guwahati on Tuesday and on the way to Karbi Anglong, Tiwa Mathonlai Thokra and other organisations felicitated him in Jagiroad.
President of Tiwa Mathonlai Tokhra, Dependra Nath Bordoloi; former president Lalsing Madar; president of Tiwa Rajdarbar Jursing Bordoloi; executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, D Uphing Maslai and Member of Tiwa Autonomous Council, Jivan Konwar were present on the occasion.
